MAGISTR-PRESS Publishing House is one of the leaders in the publication of literature at the level of international standards aiming to improve the role of the Russian language in the world. MAGISTR-PRESS Publishing House is the main coeditor of UNESCO in the Russian-speaking countries; in cooperation with UNESCO, it publishes UNESCO's reports, bestsellers, scientific literature and encyclopedias in Russian. Among its publications, there are "World Heritage Review"; in Russian; the albums of the series "The Children of the World are Painting" in Russian, English, Spanish and Portuguese; the manuals on microsciences in English, French, Portuguese and other languages; UNESCO's magazines "Courier"and "The New Courier" in Russian; Russian journals "Magistr", "Transactions of the Russian Academy of Education", "Applied Psychology", the encyclopedia "Contemporary Natural History" , in ten volumes, books of outstanding Russian scientists, etc. The main projects are UNESCO-EOLSS themes on "History of Humanity" (8 volumes), "Knowledge for Sustainable Development. An Insight into the Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems" (3 volumes). In 2008, MAGISTR-PRESS Publishing House gained from UNESCO-EOLSS Joint Committee the rights for creation of new encyclopedias "Nanoscience and Nanotechnologies" and "Sport Science"within the series"Encyclopedia of Life Support Systems".
